Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Image Translator free to use?

Yes. You can use the tool for free without signing up or providing payment card details.

Which languages are supported?

OCR supports 40+ languages for text recognition, while translation is available in 100+ languages.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

When server-based OCR is used, your image may be sent to our OCR service for processing. If the available API quota runs out, text recognition switches to Tesseract.js in your browser. Images sent for OCR are not permanently stored by us.

Can I listen to the translated text?

Yes. Use the Listen button to hear the translation. Available voices and pronunciation depend on your device and the selected language.

Is the translation always accurate?

Not always. A translation may miss context or get some details wrong. Check important translations before relying on them, especially for official or legal documents.
